Summertime is here. We will be throwing an ART Rave, Friday July 8th at the Brunswick Inn. It is a fun event, featuring Ceramics, Fiber Arts & Painting. The featured artists for this Rave are Matt Ahlers-Ceramic Artist. Catherine Worthington-Textile Arts, Sara Cox-Delilah Pottery & KDB-Karen Dominguez-Encaustic Painter.
We will have some cool Jazz courtesy of The Hall Alhers Jazz Band and of course a Cash Bar. Wine, Beer Martinis and... they have it all.
Pop in and stay a while. It is always a fun event. See you at the ART Rave.

Time for another ART RAVE! On Friday October 8th we are having an ART Rave at
The Brunswick Inn, 165 Park Row, Brunswick, Maine. We will be featuring our regular cast of Fine Artist's, showing Pottery, Textile Arts, Encaustic Paintings, Glass Bead Jewelry, Mixed Media on Canvas and Board as well as some Figurative Drawings.
We will also be featuring Live Music and a Cash Bar!
Eileen and her staff at The Brunswick Inn have been so kind in opening up their Main Rooms for this ART Rave. Take a moment while you are at the Inn and stroll around their lovely and peaceful gardens, you will not be disappointed.

Yes we do believe it is ART Rave weather! On Friday August 13th we are having an ART Rave at
The Brunswick Inn, 165 Park Row, Brunswick, Maine. We will be featuring Hal Ahlers' Jazz Group "3 Guys and a Doll" and we will have many kinds and styles of Art. Pottery, Textile Arts, Encaustic Paintings, Glass Bead Jewelry, Mixed Media on Canvas and Board as well as some Figurative Drawings.

We are currently planning an Art Rave for sometime in July, maybe! We are currently looking at a few venues, but we figure Raves are fun and having a gathering that involves some great Jazz and Art for sale a recipe for some summer fun.

Fun at the December Art Rave...

The December Art Rave was a success. We had fantastic music and a crowd of amazing folks!
Thank-you to all the Artist's who participated. Matt Ahlers Potter and Ceramic Artist, Cathy Worthington Fiber Artist, Sara Cox Potter and Ceramic Artist, Karen Dominguez Painter and Assemblage Artist, Tony Cox Photographer, Susan Perrine Fiber Artist, Heather Atwood Jeweler and The Band Funky Stella, Tom Babbit, Nancy Coleman, Robert Rand and Terry Morgan. What a terrific and talented group of people. We would also like to thank Neil Shankman for the use of his space at 101 Pleasant Ave. in Brunswick.

Art Rave & Gallery Show, Dec 11th & 12th...

The Movable Feast Itinerant Art Gallery is located at 101 Pleasant St. in Brunswick we will be open Friday & Saturday, December 11th & 12th. The Gallery is ready, we have hung the art, displayed the Ceramics, Weavings, Fiber Arts, Photographs and Assemblage pieces. We are waiting for you to pop in and stay a while.
The ART Rave is Saturday evening 6-9 featuring the music of Funky Stella. Stop in, hang out, listen to some music and buy some Art.

Have you ever been to an "ART Rave"? Now is the time to try it out, you may become hooked! Our ART Rave event features, Live Music and Art for Sale . We have a great group for this December 12th ART Rave. Painting, Textile Arts, Pottery, Photography, Jewelry, Assemblage plus a few surprises. All of the artist's are Maine based, mostly here in the mid-coast. Many are full time artists and show at galleries and art festivals.

A Moveable Feast, an "Itinerant ARTgallery"...

Life for an artist is a funny thing, most of us are very open to opportunity and to change. As Artist's we have banded together as a collective group including Painters, Ceramist's, Jewelery Makers, Assemblage, Fiber, Cloth and Mixed Media artist's as well as a few other mediums and artful oddities.
The goal is to set up a temporary Gallery or as we call it "A Moveable Feast" an Itinerant ART Gallery in spots that are not occupied at the moment. Our first Itinerant Gallery is being generously donated by Neil Shankman, in Brunswick. He moved his Law office to a different location and has an empty space that we will be using during the months of November and December at 101 Pleasant st. Brunswick, Maine. He is our generous benefactor for this "ARTrave".

Check back to see the official schedule of our December ARTrave Weekends. We will feature many Artists as well as some fantastic live music. An Art Event, not to be missed.
